Nestled towards Mt Hood in the small town of Rhododendron there’s a million and one hikes. We opted for Hidden Lake. It’s called Hidden Lake for a reason. Unless you feel like wading through mud, you can just barely see the lake peaking through the shrubbery.
It was a really great hike though. There’s a little bit of a uphill climb at the beginning, which feels more daunting than it is due to the high elevation of Rhododendron. After you get past the beginning hills though it’s smooth sailing. Personally, this adorable creek near the end of the trail was my favorite part.
