Fort Stevens was a site of World War II and is a super cool historical hike. There’s a few different paths you can take and we opted for a 5.3 mile loop. We only ended up doing about 2 miles though because we forgot bug spray and encountered the worst mosquitos you can possibly imagine. There’s still no shortage of amazing things to see at Fort Stevens though. Including but not limited to some old bunkers, the mouth of the Columbia River, and a shipwreck.
