So I’m not going to lie, the first day of this 10 day cleanse phase was incredibly hard. I was so hungry I wanted to eat everything but my options are limited. The hunger pangs were better by day 2, but now I’m facing a new beast. I’ve never been a healthy eater, and going from eating like crap every day to suddenly eating extremely healthy apparently kind of pisses your body off.
Holy sugar withdrawals. I’m having the worst headaches on the planet, BUT turns out eating fruit really helps, and I can have as much of that as I want. Hallelujah! So there’s a pro tip if you’re trying to cut out sugar, don’t give up and reach for the cookies instead, eat some fruit! Apples dipped in all natural peanut butter is a nice treat.
I have zero idea if I’ve lost any weight, because as I’ve stated in earlier posts I do not own a scale because they’re evil(the weight oh my day 1 post was a rough estimate because it made me put a number in. How annoying). Other than these dang headaches though, I feel better. I’ve been sleeping less and doing more. I can’t wait to see where I’m at by day 11!
